East Park

Whether you want to relax at a picnic table while your kids play on the play equipment or you want to stroll around the pond and feed the geese, East Park offers a variety of activities to fill your day.

North Main Park

North Main Park offers something for everyone, from a gazebo and picnic tables to relax, room to run and play and a pavilion for larger gatherings to a spray park and tennis courts to keep the kids, and adults, active.

Forest Park

From music to swimming, basketball to skating, Forest Park offers a wide variety of activities for the family. Forest Park is home to the city's bandshell, which holds performances by the municipal band most Thursday evenings during the summer, as well as the swimming pool and skate park.

Summit Park

Summit Parks offers lots something for everyone as an all-inclusive park. There are lots of ways to stay active or relax and enjoy the afternoon.

Reserve a Facility

Park pavilions and the band shell are available to reserve. Pavilions are located at East Park, Forest Park and North Main Park. Use our Park Reservation Agreement (PDF) to reserve, return to the Parks & Recreation window inside City Hall.

Bike Path

Get fit and enjoy the great outdoors on the bike / walking path. Beautiful views are found all along this 5-mile stretch that borders the Walnut River, continues through the Prairie Trails Golf course, and connects our city to the El Dorado State Park and Lake.

Disc Golf Course

The El Dorado Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole amateur and championship level course.

Located at the old American Legion, the course offers activity and fun for the entire family and enthusiasts alike.

Tornado Memorial

Remembering our city's re-building spirit after the deadly 1958 tornado is highlighted through an aeolian harp atop a bending pedestal located in Graham Park.
