Financial assistance is now available to El Dorado residents impacted by the June 3 flood to help with recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the El Dorado community, $75,000 has been raised to support those affected by the flooding. These funds are being administered through a partnership between the United Way of El Dorado and the El Dorado Community Foundation.
Assistance is available for a variety of needs, including:
- Rent or mortgage payments
- Utility bills
- Mold remediation
- Furniture, appliances, and other essential household items
Funds are being distributed through two local organizations:
- The Salvation Army is assisting with rent, mortgage, and utility expenses – Call 316-321-4070 or fill out the online form (link below).
- Community Aid Network (CAN) is helping with cleanup supplies, furniture, appliances, and other basic household needs – Call 316-452-5686 or fill out the online form (link below).
Each eligible household may receive up to $1,500 in aid.
