The El Dorado Main street Old Fashioned Christmas is a four-day event:
Thursday, Dec. 4:
- Holiday Thankful Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., with strolling carolers from BCC downtown
- Nutcracker Scavenger Hunt at Coutts Museum from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 5:
- Caroling at Coutts Museum from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., music by Encore and Excite student choirs
Saturday, Dec. 6:
- Santa in Boom Town at Kansas Oil Museum from 1 to 3 p.m., includes hot chocolate and crafts
- Kids Gingerbread House Build Off from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; house drop-off at 10 a.m. and awards at 3 p.m.
- Santa Central at Charley's Appliance from 3 to 5 p.m.
- Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m. from Fourth Avenue down Main Street to Ash
- Tree Lighting at Butler County Courthouse at 6:15 p.m. and photo op with Santa
Sunday, Dec. 7:
- Treble Makers Christmas Music at Coutts Museum at 4 p.m.
- A Nativity Festival at First United Methodist Church from 2 to 5 p.m.
