Legal Notices and Publications

In November 2023, the El Dorado City Commission approved a Charter Ordinance changing the method of publishing legal notices for the public from the local newspaper to publishing those notices on the City website. All legal notices and publications, as well as an archive of past notices, will be available on this web page. 

The public also may sign up to receive email and/or text notices when a legal notice or publication is made by signing up here.

On November 20, 2023, the El Dorado City Commission adopted Charter Ordinance No. 29 exempting the City from the provisions of K.S.A. 12-1651, providing substitute provisions regarding the designation of the official city newspaper.
